RIS for 6G network

 

 

 

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) for 6G wireless networks [1]

 

(a) RIS can mitigate the signal blockage in mmWave and terahertz(THz) communications.

(b) RIS can be leveraged for performance enhancement in unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) networks.

(c) In mobile edge computing(MEC) networks, integration of RIS technology can improve the latency performance.

(d) RIS can improve thephysical layer security (PLS).

(e) RISc an be leveraged for performance enhancement in vehicular-to-everything (V2X) networks.

(f) RIS can also be integrated with the emerging communication tech-nologies, such as non-orthogonal multiple access

(NOMA),thus improving connectivity and coverage range.
